Through longer lasting marks and high-performance, Signet’s Spot Marking Paint helps Melbourne-based surveying company save time and money by avoiding mark fades, while Signet’s PPE gear keeps workers safe on site.
Founder and owner of Absolute Surveying, Anthony Williams, has been in the business of land surveying on major construction and infrastructure projects for the past 25 years and knows what it takes to get the job done.
“In the surveying set out world, paint needs to be clear and stay clear. As surveyors, we need to make sure we aren’t holding other trades up with faded or illegible marks. We pride ourselves on undertaking projects under very tight timeframes and need to uphold our promises to clients.” —Anthony Williams, Owner and Director of Absolute Surveying.
The team at Absolute Surveying were experiencing serious inefficiencies due to their previous paint, which was fading on their job sites and found themselves on regular occasions making site revisits to mark up again. The time and money it took to remark sites reached $90,000 per year on top of the 40% of paint going in the bin due to clogging. Fed up with their paint issues, Anthony searched the market for a new paint supplier.
In 2008, they found Signet and never looked back, now using Signet Spot Marking Paint specifically designed to be used in civil, landscaping and construction works and provide vivid, long-lasting marks.
Surveyors require the appropriate protective accessories to adhere to Australian safety regulations. This is why the Absolute Surveying site team wear Signet’s PPE gear such as safety glasses, gloves and hard hats to stay safe while in a live construction environment or performing potentially hazardous duties like hammering posts into the ground.
“We are now down to minimal discarded paint because of Signet. This, coupled with no site revisits due to the paint’s longevity is saving us $90,000 per year. We’ve even had sub-contractors asking where they can get their hands on some.”
Signet’s Spot Marking Paint is made in Brisbane in Signet’s HACCP accredited paint manufacturing facility and undergoes rigorous testing to ensure the highest quality.
Signet has a wide range of marking paints, inks and line marking for all industry types. If you’d like to speak to a Signet team member, contact our Sales Team on 13,7446, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or Live Chat with us by visiting www.signet.net.au
